About

Welcome to Moments of Shukr!

About me:

My name is Safiya and I’m a Mum, Physiotherapist and now Founder of Moments of Shukr. I’ve always had a love for fun, games, and making puzzles. From a young age, I enjoyed creating activities that brought joy and excitement to those around me. After moving to Australia, this passion grew when I became part of a youth organisation. During COVID-19, I channeled my creativity into building three virtual escape rooms, which sparked a deeper passion for crafting puzzles, challenges, and clues for others to solve.

After those virtual escape rooms, the idea of creating an in-person experience stayed with me. Through the power of dua and Allah’s guidance, it became a reality, Alhamdulillah. So, Moments of Shukr was born from my desire to share my passions with others and encourage them to reflect on the blessings Allah has given us.

At Moments of Shukr, I focus on:

  • Designing escape rooms and other fun challenges that bring people together.

  • Organising sporting events, especially for women and children, to encourage participation, connection, and enjoyment.

  • Building a sense of community through engaging, gratitude-filled activities.

My core values are contribution, community, excitement, creativity, and growth. Each event I host is crafted to remind me to be thankful to Allah (SWT) for the countless blessings.

This journey is one of constant growth, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring Moments of Shukr to life. Please support me by donating, commenting, liking, and sharing my work.

Thank you for being part of this journey!
